TO BORROW FROM JULIUS CAESAR BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
One alleged reason for President Trump's wall is to prevent drug czars like El Chapo from providing the supply to meet the U.S. demand for drugs. The fault, dear Donald, is not in our czars, but in ourselves, that we are addicts. No matter how high or how long the wall, that fault will be on our side of it.
IT MIGHT WORK
The wall might work, unless those with strong incentives to enter the U.S. stumble on the advanced technologies of ladders, tunnels, or explosives which would allow them to go over, under, or through. Willing to bet $8.6 billion that they won't?
Let's see, Trump wants $8.6 billion to build the wall and about 50 thousand immigrants are arriving at the southern border every month. That means, instead of building the wall, we could give every one of them $1000 to go back home and the money would last more than 10 years. It might revolutionize the economies of Central America.
